From the creators of the Improv Comedy Cagefight comes Sydney’s newest, most insane stand up comedy night in Sydney where YOU - the audience - get to choose your favourite comedian.
The Sydney Stand Up Comedy Championships is all killer and no filler! Set in the heart of Newtown, it is the best inner west comedy.
At this show the comedians must bring all of their best material, otherwise they won’t get your vote!
Nervous about sitting in the front row? Don’t be! You’ll be voting for the comedians - they’re at your mercy…
The winner each night at the Championships will go straight to the grand final at the Sydney Comedy Store.
Free Stand-Up Comedy Class
Want to try stand up comedy or gain some skills to help you be a better story teller or public speaker?
Then come along to our free stand-up comedy class where you will learn an element of stand up comedy.
We also run stand-up comedy courses through the Sydney Comedy School. This includes a course where you’ll learn stand-up and then perform in a show!
The class starts at 6pm and ends at 7pm. You’ll have a 30-minute break to grab a meal and drink with other class members before the show starts at 7:30pm.
Stand up comedy classes for your team

We can teach you the secrets to getting laughs at the beginning of your story or presentation.
This class will help you socially and at work! It will give you tips and tricks that you can use to get people to laugh and feel good when you’re telling them a story.
